Blank Loading
Flat disc or tube blank is centered on the mandrel spindle. Material verified against cert sheet. Runout checked to ±0.10 mm before first rotation.
First-Pass Roughing
High-force roller engages the blank at programmed feed rate. Material flows axially over mandrel profile. Wall begins thinning from stock to near-net shape.

Intermediate Annealing
Work-hardened blank enters controlled-atmosphere furnace. Stress relief restores ductility before final forming. Temperature and soak time logged to job traveler.

Finish Pass
Precision roller traces final contour at reduced feed. Wall thickness converges to nominal. Surface finish achieves Ra 1.6 µm or better without secondary grinding.

CMM Inspection
Part transferred to temperature-controlled CMM cell. 100-point scan verifies concentricity, wall uniformity, and profile against nominal CAD. First Article Report generated.

Delivery Crating
Part cleaned, coated per spec, and nested in custom foam-lined crating. Packaging engineered for vibration loads per ASTM D4169. Ready for first-article delivery.
